Kaco new energy

KACO new energy is a manufacturer of power converters, in particular inverters and monitoring accessories for photovoltaic systems and power supplies for industrial applications. The company, based in Neckarsulm, Baden-Württemberg, is one of the pioneers of transformerless inverter technology, which has become the standard due to its high efficiency. From 1999 to around 2009, KACO supplied inverters with a cumulative output of 3 gigawatts and was the second-largest manufacturer in terms of inverter output sold in 2009. Siemens AG acquired 100 percent of the shares with effect from April 30, 2019.
